How to Start Software:

1. After opening laptop or computer, click on Start -> Xampp
2. In Xampp control panel start Apache and MySQl
3. Open any browser (Firefox, Chrome) and type: http://localhost/ivmfab

Adding New Items

1. Go to Items Section by clicking on 'Items' at the top
2. In the Items section you will find an option to 'Add Item'
3. Click on Add Item, and then fill in Item Code, Item name.
4. You can add item description if you want or else leave it blank
5. You can add more item details like sizes and colors if you want or leave blank
6. Click on Submit. The item is now added.
7. You can add stock for the newly created item by clicking on 'Inventory' at the top and then clicking on 'Add Finished Goods' and then entering the item code and the available stock.

View Items and Stock

1. If you click on View Items, you can find all items that you have created. 
2. Besides each item, there is an option to check the stock
3. You can also search for particular item by entering item code or item name in the search box and clicking on Submit

Add/View Raw Materials

1. In Items section you can click on 'Add New Raw Material'.
2. Fill in details like raw material code, name and details
3. You can leave details empty if you want
4. You can also enter how much stock you have of this raw material, if you have its stock

Inventory Section


Add Item Stock


1. Go to Inventory section by clicking the link at the top
2. Click on Add Finished Goods
3. Enter item code and its quatity and date. You can add additional details if you wish
4. The stock is now addded
 for that particular item which you can see by going to items sections and clicking on view item stock.

View Raw Material Stock

1. Click on View Raw Material Stock in Inventory Section
2. You can find all raw materials and their stocks
3. You can also search for particular raw material by entering its code in the search box
4. You can edit raw material stock by clicking on the link while viewing stock details and then changing the stock quantity.

Sales Section:

Create New Sales Bill:

1. Go to Sales Section, click on 'Add New Sales Bill'.
2. Fill in details like Customer ID, date, bill number, item codes, quantity, prices, VAT (if any)
3. The software will do the calculations and will show the total bill amount. If everything is correct, click Confirm and save.
4. If customer returns some items from the bill due to damage etc, then go to 'Add Sales Return', enter bill number, date and item codes and quantities that were returned.

Add Payments Received from Customer:

1. For doing this, you have to go to Billing Section by clicking on the link at the top.
2. Then click on 'Add Payments Received'.
3. Enter the bill number for which payment is being received, enter amount and date. Click Submit. That's it! Very easy!

View Bill Information and Print:

1. Click on 'View Sales Bill Info' which will display all bills information. Click on the bill number for which you want to see more information.
2. You will find all details regarding the bill including sales returns and what payments customer has made and how much payment is remaining etc.
3. You can also print the bill from here to give to customer.
4. You can also upload scanned copy of the bill after taking customer's signature as proof later on.
